Payment-processing and marketplace fees, plus gateway fees not tied to an order.

How it is calculated

• Real fees from a connected Shopify Payments, PayPal or Stripe account replace the estimate from your fee rules.
• Marketplace channels such as TikTok Shop report their fees at settlement; those are used as is.

Reading it

• Format: Amount in your reporting currency.
• Lower is better (an increase is shown in red).

Where it appears

• Overview and Dashboards — add it from the metric picker (Costs group).
