Return costs = return shipping × returns + restocking cost × returned units (+ 3PL per-return fee)
How it is calculated
- Return shipping and restocking per unit are set in Settings → Store & tax.
- A return is counted when a refund restocks at least one unit.
Reading it
- Format: Amount in your reporting currency.
- Lower is better (an increase is shown in red).
Where it appears
- Overview and Dashboards — add it from the metric picker (Costs group).
