Handling fees

Per-order and per-item handling costs from your store settings.

How it is calculated

• Set in Settings → Store & tax → Operational defaults.
• Only orders with something to ship carry handling.

Reading it

• Format: Amount in your reporting currency.
• Lower is better (an increase is shown in red).

Where it appears

• Overview and Dashboards — add it from the metric picker (Costs group).
• Custom metrics — use the variable handling in a formula. See custom metrics.
