Limit a cost to some orders
Order-level types can apply to every order or only to orders that match. Conditions: order tags, sales channels, discount codes, shipping countries, products and collections. You can also exclude orders by tag. The editor shows how many orders in the last 30 days match.
Example: an influencer earns 12% of sales made with her code. Add a % of net sales cost with the condition Discount codes: ANNA12.
Marketing costs
Turn on Counts as marketing for agency fees, sponsorships and similar costs. These count in Other marketing costs, in CAC and in POAS.
How each type reaches profit
- Order-level costs reduce each order's contribution.
- Percentage-of-ad and formula costs reduce contribution profit for the day.
- Fixed costs reduce net profit only, unless they count as marketing. For today, they count for the part of the day that has passed. See Partial-day proration.
Start and end dates
A cost applies between its start and end date. Deleting a cost removes it from past periods too. To keep history, set an end date instead.
