Marginful uses Shopify's billing system. Shopify processes every charge, and Marginful never sees your payment details.

Approving a charge

When you choose a paid plan, Shopify shows its own confirmation page with the plan and price. The plan starts when you approve. Until then, your store stays on Free.

Monthly and annual billing

  • Monthly plans are charged every 30 days.
  • Yearly plans are charged once a year. Pay yearly: save 10% + free Quick setup.

Changing plans

Choose a new plan in Settings → Plan & Billing and approve it in Shopify. Shopify prorates the difference.

Price protection

  • If prices change, your subscription keeps the price version it started on for as long as you stay on that plan.
  • Founding Merchant prices last while your subscription stays continuously active. See Plans and trial.

Plan & Billing page

Settings → Plan & Billing shows your plan and price, billing interval, orders used this month, your allowance, your next billing date and the plans you can move to.

If Shopify freezes your subscription

If your Shopify bill is unpaid, Shopify freezes app subscriptions. Marginful pauses until the bill is settled.
